CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT (please read)

The Balwyn Junior Football Club takes the management of concussion very seriously. As the welfare of our children remains our sole focus, we will continue to adopt the AFL slogan of “If in doubt, sit them out.”

The AFL have put together an amazing website which provides guidelines for concussion recognition and early management in community football.

They are specifically targeted but not limited to:

  • Trainers and first aid personnel
  • Coaches
  • Club officials
  • Parents
  • Players
